We visited Baibars Mechatronics Aviation Industry Inc. together with our students and faculty members. By meeting directly with executives and employees from the industry, our students both benefited from their knowledge and experience and had an enjoyable time. Additionally, meetings were held with company officials regarding current and future collaborations between our department and the firm.

About Baibars Aviation: Founded in the Çukurova region in 2015 to meet the technological needs of Turkish farmers using national resources, Baibars Mechatronics Aviation carries out activities in the development, production, system integration, and life-cycle support processes of civil rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in accordance with high standards within national and international frameworks. Baibars received the largest direct investment in Turkish aviation history from Japan’s Exedy Corporation, one of the world's largest machinery and equipment manufacturers, and became a Turkish-Japanese joint venture in the final quarter of 2023. Anticipating the needs of farmers and agriculture, Baibars continues to generate immediate solutions to requirements through its technological and systemic investments. It also continues to invest in devices, materials, software, and machinery to ensure the production of technologies it foresees for the future of agriculture and industrial rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.
