On April 27, 2026, a technical field trip to Çukurova Airport was organized for our 3rd-year students, guided by the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Sezgin AYDIN, and our faculty members, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tugay ÖNEY and Res. Asst. Tuğba AKBIYIK.

During this trip, our students had the opportunity to observe firsthand the airside and landside processes, which are the heart of airport operations, while also gaining detailed information about the AOCC (Airport Operations Control Center), the coordination hub of the operations.

As the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the officials of Çukurova International Airport for contributing to the realization of this valuable experience and for hosting us with utmost hospitality.
